I need you, Lord.
I need your vision, your wisdom, your strength.
Sometimes, I’m tired.
I can’t do this in my own strength, my own
breath, my own pace.
Shield me from the winds that blow,
the busyness, the to-and-throw.
The storms I walk thru and the ones I cause.
Let me follow.
Let me pause,
and keep in step with only you, Lord.
You are my fortress.
You are my strong tower.
You are my voice and my power.
And in the quiet of this hour,
remind me of Your love,
my strength from above,
my only love.
