One of the things I love about Jesus is that He is our Healer! But He isn’t about quick fixes and bandaids. He doesn’t want to cover up our wounds and hope they eventually heal on their own – which in my experience, they never do. He loves us so much that He wants to shine His light on the brokenness, healing us, restoring us, and making us brand new. He wants to instill in us His perfect peace – nothing missing and nothing broken. If you are struggling today, invite Jesus in, and remember: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
