I’ve weighed and measured a good part of my life. I’ve counted calories, counted the number of times I’ve done the same stupid thing over and over again, and counted my blessings by what I could hold in my hand. I’ve measured my success, weighed and measured my options, and measured my worth based on the choices I’ve made and my past regret. But it wasn’t until I’ve gotten to know Jesus that I’m beginning to understand that I don’t have to weigh and measure anymore. That’s not why He came. He didn’t come to weigh, measure, and condemn me for what I’ve done. He came for a relationship. He came to love me, free me, and save me. And that’s the same reason He came for you. 
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:17
