Sing a little louder!

Have you ever heard of praise as a weapon? In 2 Chronicles 20, we read that a vast army was coming against King Jehoshaphat. But before they arrived, the King went before the Lord and asked Him for help. And this is what the Lord said: “You do not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.” So they took up their positions on that hill, and they began to sing: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.” As they sang, “the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.”
My friends, our praise is a weapon! When we lift up our voice and trust in the LORD, He will do mighty things. So as we start this new week, sing a little louder! Trust in the Lord, and let your weapon be a melody. He will be with you!
