Balance

It’s a balance, finding the lesson in all things. The Bible tells us to “consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds because the testing of our faith produces perseverance.” As we live out these brief moments here on earth, we learn that we wouldn’t cherish the light without darkness. Without sadness, we wouldn’t know joy. Without hardship, we wouldn’t know peace. And without loss, we wouldn’t see the gift of life. That’s why I will be grateful for all things, letting perseverance finish its work in me until Jesus comes again.
