The Battle with Confusion

For years I battled with confusion. Every decision I needed to make seemed impossible, and my head spun with every possible answer. I listened to my family, friends, the world, and especially the enemy. This battle stopped me from ever moving forward, and I stayed stalled in my life, suffering. I learned later that there is a specific spirit called the “spirit of Confusion.” Now I know who I need to fight against, for myself and others, and I tell him he needs to go in Jesus’ name. Besides rebuking the enemy, we also need to be standing on a solid foundation and know our truth. God’s Word. Here are some verses that talk about confusion:

“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33

“Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.” 2 Timothy 2:7

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they come from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

“Let my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word!” Psalm 119:169
