Sometimes the waves of “what-ifs” roll-on us endlessly.
What if I can’t make my rent/mortgage payment?
What if my marriage doesn’t last?
What if I get sick?
What if things never change?
What if I’m always alone?
My friends, these “what-ifs” are not of God but from the enemy, the devil. He wants to instill in us fear and make us question God’s ability. He wants to steal our joy and peace.
But we can overcome, and to do that, we need to stand firm against the enemy. We need to rebuke him and stand on a solid foundation of God’s Word. God IS faithful and has great plans for you. Trust in His provision and the promises of His Word.
“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.” – Deuteronomy 7:9
