A pear sitting on top of a table.

It can creep in without warning. A tiny seed is planted that grows into a garden of anxiety. Whether watching the news or feeling life spin around us, we have all felt the anxiousness and anxiety of living in this broken world. But what does God’s Word tell us? “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
The key is being in constant communication with our Father, thanking Him for the plans that He, not our enemy, has for us. When we trust that God is greater than our situations and holds the world in the palm of His hands, we won’t have anxiety – but His perfect peace. Amen!
