In this passage, Paul is talking to the Corinthians. They are being influenced by the Saduccees and non-believers who did not believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Paul is telling them not to be deceived.
This is a powerful Word for us today.
We are called to love our neighbors and those we do not know, but it is essential to surround ourselves with others aligned with God’s Word. Choosing who is in our “tribe” is critical. If we let the voices of this world shape our thinking, we will be pulled off the path God has for us and away from His Truth.
