Do you know the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego? They refused to bow down and worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s gods or his image of gold. Because of their refusal, they were thrown into a blazing furnace. And while the three men were in there, the King saw not three men, but four. That’s right; it was Jesus in the furnace with them. They came out of the furnace untouched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
While it may seem that our furnace is being turned up and we are walking in flames, remember, Jesus is with us. We will not be harmed! Praise be to God!
