In my old life, I hated closed doors. I would stand outside and knock and beat upon the door until my hands would bleed. I was bound and determined to get in – because that’s what I wanted. But I’ve learned since I’ve surrendered my life to the Lord that I need to trust God and where He leads. That closed doors are closed for a reason. And if I were meant to go in, the Lord would have it wide open for me to walk through. Now, I’m thankful when a door is closed because I know He is protecting me and that the door that’s closed is not His plan. My prayer is now: “Close the doors that are not for me, and open wide the doors for me to walk through. I trust YOU, Lord.” Let this be our prayer today!
