What does this verse mean? Not only is Jesus responsible for creating all things, but He is also the reason all things continue to exist. This verse in Greek can also be translated as “all things continue to endure.” He is both the creator and sustainer of our world. That’s why we, as broken people, just like this rope, need Jesus to make us whole. He holds us together. Hallelujah!
