A prayer for today…

Dear God,
Please help me when I let the noises of this world drown out the sound of your voice. I am guilty of being too busy, too preoccupied, too eager to do other things than spend time with you. I admit that I have not surrendered my entire life to You. I am selfish and hold some things back that I still want to enjoy, even when I know they don’t honor You. Please forgive me, Lord. Could you help me? Train my ears to hear Your voice. Help me to prioritize my day and keep You first. Help me to surrender all that I have to You. Thank you, Father, for what You are going to do in my life. I am ready!
