I love my phone. I love how it connects me to my family and friends. I love how it’s a tool for the ministry, and I can talk to people around the world about Jesus. But if I let it, my phone can be a distraction. It can be a doorway for the enemy to come in and pull me from God’s plans and purposes. I must choose what and who I let in and continually pray for wisdom for both.
With a tool that has so much power for good and evil, it comes with great responsibility. And we must continually check ourselves and those we are responsible for to ensure doors remain closed. We are reminded in Ephesians 5:15-16 “Be very careful, then, how you live–not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” My friends, use this as a reminder to check yourselves, your children, and those you love when it comes to our phones. Let it be a great tool to connect. Not a doorway for the enemy to work and move.
