When we read Ephesians 6:10-18, Paul tells us what we need to do so we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. We read about each piece of armor we must wear and how to pick up the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word. But that’s not the end. He goes on to say, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Prayer is sometimes our missing component. We suit up, but we don’t pray. I want to remind you that Prayer is just as important as putting on the whole armor of God. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Prayer helps us fight in the Spirit! Today, suit up and PRAY!
