Are You Thirsty?

Are you thirsty? So many times in our lives, we thirst for God but don’t even realize it’s Him we need. We turn to things of this world to quench our thirst; money, alcohol, love, possessions – thinking this will fill us up – only leaving us even more empty. But the truth is that we will never be satisfied until we thirst for the one Who created us in His image. May our natural desire to go to God come as easy as this deer going to water. When it’s thirsty, it goes to the only source that will quench its thirst. Let this be us. May our hearts long for God alone.
