On October 18, 1971, the song “Because He Lives” was released. It was one of the most popular songs written by Bill and Gloria Gaither. Maybe this is the first time you are hearing about it. Perhaps you’ve never read the words. But it is based on a challenging time in their life and how Jesus was faithful. It was written on the promise of John 14:19.
Today, say these words out loud. Let them soak into your heart. Jesus not only died on a cross but rose again. It’s because He lives that changes everything. Believe His promise and know that He is with you.
