Often, the labels we struggle with the most are the ones we’ve gotten from others. Something is said to us in passing, a wrong diagnosis, a harsh word, a judgment, or an observation, and it sticks to us and never goes away. And then there is everything we believe from the enemy of our soul – the devil. He tells us that we are unloved, unforgiven, broken, and damaged, and with every lie, we believe just a little more. His goal is to make us forget – forget that we are created in God’s image, born with a plan and purpose, and that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son into the world to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our sins – so that we could have forgiveness and everlasting life. It’s time to stop believing the enemy’s lies and believe what God says about us. We are Children of the King!

“To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12).

“Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Romans 8:17
