In this verse, Paul has sent Timothy to check on the Thessalonians and encourage them. And it is the same encouragement for us today. The Bible tells us that we shouldn’t be surprised when we are persecuted for believing in Jesus Christ. But we can be confident that the Lord is faithful and will strengthen us as we stand firm in our faith. Hallelujah!
