Jesus wept: the shortest verse in the Bible but the one that says so much. While Jesus left His throne in Heaven, He came into the world as fully human. He understood the frailty of living, the joy of relationships, and the feeling of hunger, loss, and heartbreak. Jesus knows what it’s like to live in this world, battle the enemy, and live each day trusting in His Father in Heaven. If you think that He doesn’t understand, He does. This is all the more reason to trust Him with your grief, your sorrow, and your sadness. One day, there will be no more tears. But until that day comes, lean into Jesus. He loves you so much!
