I like this image for two reasons. One, it shows how Jesus walks into the darkness of our lives and changes it until it is light again. He is the Light of all humanity and the only One who can light up the darkness. I also see how we alone leave His Light and choose to walk into the darkness. It is our choice to depart from God and live in sin.
Are you experiencing a time of darkness right now? If so, it’s time to allow Jesus in to do a new thing in your circumstances so He can light up your world with His truth. And for others, maybe it’s time to return to His Light. To choose to leave the life of sin, repent, and return to His path. He is our life, salvation, and humanity’s Light. His Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it! Amen.
