If you’ve ever wondered where the devil wants you to be, this is it: stalled out on the side of the road. He’s come to steal, kill and destroy and his goal is to distract you from God, taking you off His path, And he’ll do whatever it takes to keep you from moving forward into all God has for you. He’ll recycle lies, hold you back, try and break you down, and make you forget where you were going in the first place.
But Paul tells us in Philippians 3:12-14 that we must keep pressing on, straining ahead, and forgetting what is behind us. We can’t stay stalled out on the side of the road, wondering what just happened. We can’t allow the enemy to keep us from all God has for us. Keep moving forward; keep straining ahead. May we win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.
