The hardest thing about letting go is the act itself. We open up our clenched hands and lift our palms to the sky, saying, “God, I can’t carry this anymore.” And this isn’t just something we do once. We do and say this every time we’re tempted to hang onto our guilt, shame, grief, situation, or heartache – even if it’s several times a day. You see, to live a surrendered life, the only thing we need to hold onto is God Himself.
