Disappointment comes in many forms. We can be disappointed over report cards and car dents and rainy days when we were scheduled to go to the beach. We can be disappointed over job loss, loss of a friend, or when the person we trusted the most walks out of our life. Disappointment comes when an expectation doesn’t get met or when something we wanted doesn’t come true. The only way to let go of our disappointments is to give them to God. We need to trust that He has a plan for our lives and sees what we need and what we don’t.

In the words of an anonymous quote, “He knows the end from the beginning while we see just a short part of now.”

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” ~ PROVERBS 3:5-6
