Matthew 25:1-13

The parable of the wise and foolish virgins: This was yet another story Jesus used to teach his disciples to be ready for His return. As the ten went out to meet the bridegroom, five only brought their lamps with no oil, and five brought their lamps and extra oil. While they waited, they slept until they heard the cry at the midnight hour that the bridegroom was coming. Who was ready? Those that were prepared and brought extra oil to keep their lamps burning brightly.My friends, we need to be prepared. Keep watch and shine brightly for His return! No one knows the day or the hour when Jesus Christ will come again…
