Planting Seeds

Have you ever felt overwhelmed about sharing the gospel? Maybe it’s even challenging to invite someone to church. I think it’s because we make it too complicated. We believe the job is bigger than what it is. You see, our job is to plant the seed. Jesus talks about this in Mark 4:14 and compares us to the farmer, sowing the word. We need to plant the seed and allow God to make it grow. Planting a seed could be showing the love of Christ, making a meal for someone in need, praying for someone right there in the moment, inviting them to church, or sharing your testimony and how Jesus saved you. We cannot change the soil of their hearts, only God can do that. All we can do is plant and pray for rain. Today, let’s plant some seeds!
