A door open to the hallway with words in front of it.

Waiting is hard. And it’s easy to get ahead of ourselves and work on our agenda while we’re waiting for God. We stand in the hallway, waiting for a door to open, and we say to ourselves, “l’ll help God out. Then it will go a little faster.” I’ve rationalized that before. But to honestly wait for Him, wait for Him to completely open that door in His timing, we have to be patient. We have to put our hope and trust in His promises. We have to praise Him while we’re waiting.I challenge you today that if you are waiting on something, stay true to God’s timeline. He will give you the strength and the peace until He opens that door. And in the meantime, praise Him in the hallway.
