A picture of the lord 's tower in the middle of nowhere.

Do you have something or someone you run to when you’re having a bad day? Maybe it’s a friend you can call or text. Maybe it’s a food that has your name written on it when you’re at the end of your rope. Or maybe you go to the cupboard, get out a glass, and pour yourself a tall drink. At the end of the day you have a text, an empty wrapper, and an empty glass. Do you feel better? Do you have what it takes to do two bad days in a row? Or three? What about a season of sorrow? Proverbs 18:10, tells us where to turn: “The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Throughout my life I have run to the arms of my Father. I can tell you with confidence that He is safer than a friend, more fulfilling than food or drink, and has the strength for me to run to Him hour after hour, day after day, year after year. His love never ends, and I always know where to find Him. He is my strong tower. I encourage you today to hold onto this verse, let it sink into the depths of your heart, and remember where you can turn in your dark hours. Oh, how He loves you and me. â¤ï¸
