When I think about this verse, I have this imagery of our Father leaning down to look at our skinned knees and broken hearts, gathering us up in His arms to wipe our tears. We can be confident that He isn’t about quick fixes and bandaids. He loves us so much that He wants to shine His light into our brokenness, healing our broken hearts and making us brand new.
