When we read Ephesians 6:10-18, the Bible tells us how to fight against the enemy. We are given the armor of God and told to put it on to take our stand against the devil’s schemes. Time and time again, it tells us to “stand”: stand firm, stand your ground, stand.
When I look back over my life, the enemy was winning when I had given up and sat down. I was not actively listening to God and cooperating with His Word. I was not standing on His promises and stepping out in my faith. I was not standing firm.
Whatever you are going through today, it’s time to stand up. It’s time to put on the armor of God and fight against the devil’s schemes. It’s time to stand firm, trusting in God. It’s time to stand your ground – and win!
