Today, I want to remind you that living in this world is a battle. The Bible tells us that our enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. And because we cannot see him, we often forget. We move through our lives daily, struggling – listening to his lies, afraid and alone, forgetting who we are and that God has a plan and purpose for our lives. Then, we wake up one day and realize our identities are stolen, our families are divided, and our health hangs in the balance.
It’s time, my friends! It’s time to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. It’s time to put on the full armor of God and fight! Pick up your shield of faith and sword of the spirit (God’s Word) and take your stand against the devil’s schemes. And win!
