There are 34 verses in the Bible about sculpting and clay. My favorite is Isaiah 64:8, “Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
After I surrendered my life to be what God had created me to be – I would need to be re-sculpted. I had so much stuck to me, so many things I thought were important, so many lies I had believed, and so many cracks and holes that needed repair. I would need to be re-made. Even though the process took time, I’m so glad that God didn’t just stick a bandaid on me. He fixed the broken parts, and now I’m more alive than ever before.
If this is you right now, trust the process. Let God take the time He needs to make all things new.
