VOICES

For many years, I heard voices. Often, it was the enemy’s voice, lying to me and filling me with discouragement. Other times, I listened to people and was more concerned with what they thought of me than what I thought of myself. And then sometimes I would hear that still, small voice of God. It was what kept me going in the middle of some dark and stormy years. Little did I know how important it is to discern these voices. We must be able to recognize the voice of Satan, the voice of people, and the voice of God. We must be able to discern God’s voice, speaking to our heart, and yield to whatever He is saying or asking us to do. And when we can discern these voices and test them, we will know how to navigate our steps forward, trusting in the perfect plan God has for us, giving ALL glory to Jesus!
