A door that is open and has two wooden doors.

Do you have walls in your life that won’t seem to come down? Over time, the walls have grown, and now, there’s even a door. You are feeling trapped and unsure how to go free. Well, let me remind you today of the story of Jericho. Jericho was a city that Joshua and the Israelites were supposed to conquer, but there were high walls and no way to gain access to the city. But the Lord promised this city to Joshua, and he and the people would need to obey and step out in faith. Their task? Marching around the city seven times, and on the seventh time -shouting. Does this seem silly to you? How can you bring down walls by marching and shouting? But they weren’t the ones bringing down the walls – it was God. They were to be obedient to what He asked. “When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed, so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.” Joshua 6:20

Overcoming the walls and strongholds in our lives is trusting in the Lord, believing in HIS power, and doing whatever He commands. Are you ready to do a little marching?
