What are we planting?

I planted my garden last week. I was reminded of the importance of the seed and what we can grow. But not just with flower or vegetable seeds, but the seeds we are planting in the garden of our hearts. Are we planting peace, joy, and love? Or are we planting seeds of bitterness, anger, and resentment? God’s Word tells us in Galatians 6:7-9, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”Let us sow in our hearts peace, joy, and love and share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And what a harvest that will be.
