Charles Spurgeon wrote these words. He was a Baptist preacher who died in 1892. His words struck my heart this week and make me ask us today, “What do OUR Bibles look like?” If God’s Word is our GPS while living in this broken world, if this is where we need to turn to for every crossroads, every question, every bit of truth we need in our life, our Bibles should be falling apart. But often their not. It’s our lives that are messy and broken, being held together by a string. It’s not too late, you know. It’s never too late to open His Word and ask Him to speak to us. And this is what He’ll say… “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5
