What do you believe you will be giving up?

So many times, we think when we give up something to follow God, we will be shortchanged. Yet if we look to the covenant God made with Abraham, God did not ask him to give up anything that he was not going to replace. God promised Abraham a new land with offspring that would be as numerous as the stars, and all God asked of him was his obedience.What do you believe you will be giving up today? For me, I gave up a life of illness, addiction, depression, and destruction and set out on a new path of obedience. But God replaced my pain, suffering, and shallow life for a life of joy, hope, and His provision. It was not an even exchange. Whatever you think you are giving up, God will replace, restore, renew and replenish until you are overflowing. He has proven time and time again of his faithfulness and that His promises are true!
