I love comfortable shoes and getting comfortable after a ten-hour day when I only want to put my feet up and relax. But it’s one thing to love to get comfortable and quite another “staying” comfortable because of fear of the unknown. Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Often, we stay in our comfort zone because we’re filled with questions and what-ifs. We don’t step out into everything God has for us because we’re unsure of what He’ll ask us to do. But – if we have faith that God is walking with us, even in uncomfortable situations, we can believe He will give us the strength we need no matter where we are and equip us for the task. Don’t listen to the enemy’s lies telling you to stay home and stay comfortable. Be obedient and follow wherever He leads.
