We have all felt brokenness. We’ve been betrayed, lied to, forgotten, passed by, and passed over. Unfortunately, this happens when living in a broken world with broken people. But when we lift our eyes and look past the brokenness, we see someone standing in the gap. He came to cancel the plans of the enemy. He came to restore God’s original design. He came to redeem the lost and broken. He came to bridge the gap between God and man. And He did that with a cross.
As we start this new week, Holy Week, I encourage you to remember why Jesus came. It’s time to let go of whatever we are carrying and grab onto Him. Death has been defeated; it is finished, and it’s time to start living victoriously!
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” ~ Romans 6:4
