It’s incredible to feel love from another person. It radiates from them and comes out in their smile, the kind words they use, their whole demeanor. Our spirit recognizes this love, and so do others. Notice that Jesus didn’t say everyone will know you are His disciples just by saying that you are; it’s by showing that you are. Loving people is not easy, and we can’t do it in our own strength. To love people, we need Jesus in our hearts while we listen to the truth and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Only then will they know we are His.
