“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:43-45
Why must we pray when everything in us wants justice and to strike back? Because only God can change hearts. Only God can work and move in impossible situations. We must continue to love, showing those around us Jesus, and we must pray – trusting in God and that He is still on the throne. He will make a way.
