It hit me the other day, what started in the garden ended in a garden.
Garden of Eden:
Adam and Eve used their free will and chose to eat from the Tree of Knowledge.
Their decision separated us from God.
Their choice allowed sin to enter the world.
Garden of Gethsemane:
Jesus chose to do His Father’s Will and chose death on the cross.
Jesus’ decision restored us back to the Father.
Jesus’ choice would cancel sin and death.
What a God we serve that would choose to send His only Son to save and restore us to Himself. And a Son who would choose to do the will of the Father.
